Synopsis
The play was a competition piece which was entered in... The Avon Association One Act Drama Festival at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall on 18th February (receiving a Grade A marking), the All England One Act Festival at the Redgrave Theatre Bristol on 25th February and the Malmesbury One Act Festival (winning the Allen Peacock Trophy for the Best Original Play) in mid March. In Addition to being the first ever performance of the play, this was the first production at the newly refurbished Iron Acton Parish Hall, and indeed the first Actonians performance this century! The Trackman Cometh: In the seen-better-days Diamente Lounge, things are not necessarily as they seem. If facades invite assumptions and assumptions are commodities, the sixty four thousand Euro questions are - who's selling and who's buying?
